    I have the Admiral NiMh 5S 6.0v 2000mAh pack. What is the suggested charge rate? For a 2000mAh pack, the "old school" recharge rate would be 200 mAh. Can I safely push these newer packs to a higher charge rate? I'm using a Hitec X1Pro charger.

    Hello James, You can safely charge this battery at a higher rate of charge. I usually charge my NIMH pack at 1000mAh.

    Who is the manufacturer of the battery cells? Would you trust them in a 1/4 scale airplane?

    Hello Michael, "Admiral" is our own brand (Motion RC). They have proved to be really excellent batteries and I would have no problem recommending any of the Admiral batteries. I personally use them myself.
